Cannabis Infused German Chocolate Cake

Cannabis Infused German Chocolate Cake

**Ingredients:**For the cake:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 large eggs
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 1/2 cup vegetable oil
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 1 cup hot water
– 1/4 cup cannabis-infused coconut oil (adjust potency based on preference)

For the frosting:
– 1 cup evaporated milk
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 3 large egg yolks
– 1/2 cup cannabis-infused butter (adjust potency based on preference)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 1/3 cups sweetened shredded coconut
– 1 cup chopped pecans

**Instructions:**

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Add the eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in the hot water and cannabis-infused coconut oil until well combined. The batter will be thin.

4. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

5. While the cakes are baking, prepare the frosting. In a medium saucepan, combine the evaporated milk, brown sugar, egg yolks, and cannabis-infused butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens, about 10 to 12 minutes.

6. Remove the frosting from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans.

7. Once the cakes are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.

8. Once the cakes are completely cool, place one layer on a serving plate and spread half of the frosting over the top. Place the second layer on top and spread the remaining frosting over the top.

9. Slice and serve your Cannabis-Infused German Chocolate Cake. Enjoy responsibly!
