Cannabis infused Shepherd Pie

Cannabis infused Shepherd Pie


– 1 pound ground beef or lamb, beyond burger for a vegetarian style
– 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 3-4 tablespoons cannabis-infused butter
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
– 2 cups mashed potatoes
– Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large skillet, melt the cannabis-infused butter over medium heat.

3. Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.

4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.

5. Sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir well to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.

6. Slowly pour in the beef or vegetable broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Cook until the mixture thickens slightly.

7. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8. Transfer the meat and vegetable mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.

9. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top of the meat mixture, smoothing it out with a spatula.

10. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the mashed potatoes are lightly golden brown on top.

11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
