  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • I handful of large basil leaves (6-10 leaves)
  • Handful of canna leaves chopped (6-10 leaves)
  • Canna leaves set aside for garnish of each slice

  2. Chop tomatoes, garlic, canna leaves and basil. Add them to a bowl.
  3. If using oil, add 1 tablespoon now.
  4. If using moringa, add 1 teaspoon now.
  5. If using cannabis oil, add now.
  6. Mix well.
  7. If needed, add more olive oil.
  8. Squeeze a small wedge of lemon over the mixture. Add very little juice at first. Add more if necessary. Do not add more than 1/2 teaspoon or it may taste too lemony.
  9. Toast bread. Top with mixture and serve. Or, serve bread and let guests top their own!

Superfood Nutrition

Cannabis is a superfood, so adding decarboxylated cannabis flower is a great way to sneak in some of this magical plant. It’s true that decarboxylated cannabis is technically cooked, which decreases nutrients, but this is true for any food.

This post was also inspired by this superfood moringa bruschetta recipe. If you haven’t tried moringa, it is one of nature’s most giving superfoods and should be a staple in any vegan’s pantry!

Making bruschetta doesn’t have to be complicated or time consuming! Whether you’re hosting a party or just looking for something quick and easy to make at home, this bruschetta recipe is sure to please even the pickiest eaters. So grab your ingredients and give it a try – you won’t regret it! Bon appétit!
